Cinderella Unni really reminds me of Piano (the one with Kim Haneul, Go Soo, Jo Insung).
The conflicts within a family tops the romance part.
The father who love every one of his children despite not being related by blood.
The children who can't get along on the surface, but in reality they do care about each other.
The almost impossible romantic relationship between the leads due to their circumstances.
Those tear-jerking moments that they seem to have in every episode.
Not to mention, tragic death(s), misunderstandings and more misunderstandings.
The reason why I like both is because I can relate with the characters, they're realistically built with real human beings as its models.
Take Eun-Jo for example.
I can deeply sympathize with her because I understand how she feels.
I really do.
She's the type of person who is afraid to show her real feelings because it makes her vulnerable, she feels like she'll risk a lot if she shows that she care.
Thus, she employs the "cruel to be kind" attitude towards people.
I hope the similarities between these 2 dramas stop here.
I don't want a similar ending.
I was bawling my eyes out after Piano finished.
And I think I shed enough tears to last for years because of CU.
